IBES is dedicated to facilitating and making available high-quality programmes and recognised qualifications globally.
IBES is registered as a Professional Training service provider in accordance to Article R.6351-6 of the French Employment Code, with the prefecture of the region of ILE-DE-FRANCE under Number 11755913675. IBES is also registered as a private distance learning establishment of Higher Education with the French Ministry of Education in accordance with the French Education Act – Code de l’Education Articles L 444-1 to 444-11 and R 444-1 to 444-28.
IBES is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) for Independent Further and Higher Education as an Independent Higher Education provider. This globally recognised accreditation underscores IBES’s commitment to delivering world-class education and fostering success in both academia and professional careers. IBES also holds the Qualiopi certification, a French quality certification for training providers. This certification attests to the high standards of our processes in developing the knowledge and skills of our students.
To better reflect our mission and align with French educational standards and regulations, Brittany Université has officially become Institut Brittany d’Enseignement Supérieur (IBES) as of 1 January 2024, in accordance with Article L731-14 of the French Education Code. The new name, Institut Brittany d’Enseignement Supérieur (IBES), better reflects our mission as a higher education provider and training organisation. It also reaffirms our identity as a dynamic, student-centred institution dedicated to accessible, high-quality education and lifelong learning. As part of our ongoing dedication to quality, IBES maintains the following accreditations and recognitions: Accreditation by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) as an Independent Higher Education provider. The BAC is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), and is listed on the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).

Our LMS, Moodle, is a popular open-source learning management system that provides teachers with a platform to create and deliver online courses. It offers a wide range of features and tools for collaboration, communication, assessment, and course management.
