The programme aims to:
- Develop advanced computing knowledge relevant to contemporary digital and technology-driven environments, including programming, software engineering, data systems, and artificial intelligence.
- Equip learners with technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills required for professional roles in software development, data analysis, and IT solution design.
- Foster innovation, creativity, and solution-oriented thinking in the design and development of computing systems and applications.

Programme Structure
The programme is a full undergraduate degree comprising 180 ECTS credits delivered over three academic years (60 ECTS per year). There are no optional modules; all are core.

Note: Learners admitted through Recognition of Prior Learning (APL) into the Final Year (Top-Up) must successfully complete the 60 ECTS credits of Year 3.

Entry Requirements
A. Admission into Year 1
Applicants must have successfully completed upper secondary education equivalent to:
- UK: A-Levels, RQF Level 3, Scottish Highers
- Germany: Abitur
- France: Baccalaureat
- Spain: Bachillerato
- Other Countries: An equivalent school-leaving certificate granting university access (generally 11-12 years of formal education).
English Language Proficiency (evidenced by one of the following):
- Successful completion of a programme taught in English (minimum 6 months).
- Minimum IELTS score of 4.0 (or equivalent TOEFL).
- A qualification at EQF Level 2 or above examined in English.
- A regulated English test score aligned with CEFR Level B1+.
B. Advanced Standing / Credit Transfer (APL)
Students may be admitted directly into Year 2 or Year 3 based on prior learning.
- Requires a recognised Diploma or Higher Diploma (typically aligned with RQF Levels 4 and 5 or equivalent EQF levels) in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Module exemptions and credit transfer (from studies typically not older than 10 years) are possible subject to evaluation.
Delivery Mode
- Fully Online and Blended Learning
- Each taught module includes 8 hours of online learning, tutorials, and interactions with the Module Leader.
- The programme is designed for flexible, self-paced learning.
Duration / Notional Hours
- Maximum Duration for Completion: 4 years for the full 180 ECTS programme.
- Maximum Duration for APL/Top-Up Students (Year 3 only): 18 months.
- Notional Hours: Based on the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), 1 ECTS credit typically equates to 25-30 notional student work hours.
- Therefore, the full 180 ECTS programme represents approximately 4,500 to 5,400 notional hours.
- A standard 10 ECTS module represents approximately 250 to 300 notional hours.
