Programme Overview
This 120 ECTS MBA, awarded by Institut Brittany d’Enseignement Supérieur (IBES), is designed to equip experienced professionals and managers with the capabilities to become strategic leaders. The programme focuses on driving organisational transformation, enhancing corporate resilience, and combining strategic vision with financial performance and inclusive leadership. It addresses the need for senior executives who can navigate complex, uncertain environments, lead multicultural teams, and integrate new technologies into management practices.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, graduates will be able to demonstrate advanced competencies in three key areas:

Knowledge: Possess an advanced and critical understanding of core business domains (strategy, finance, marketing, etc.), integrate knowledge across disciplines (including technology and sustainability), and acquire specialised frontier knowledge in a chosen area like Finance, Marketing, or Innovation.

Course Structure
The 120 ECTS programme consists of 9 taught modules, an internship, and a final capstone project. Students can choose a specialisation (e.g., Finance, Marketing) which is the focus of their final project.

Internship (10 ECTS): A 3-month practical industry placement.

Capstone Business Research Project (20 ECTS): A major research project (10,000-12,000 words) on a real-world business problem within the student’s chosen specialisation.
Assessment Structure
The programme employs a continuous assessment strategy designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Methods: Assessment instruments include work-based reports (3,500-4,000 words), articles/assignments, case studies, simulations, in-class activities, presentations, and the final capstone project.

Grading: A clear classification structure is used, with marks banded as Distinction (70-100%), Merit (60-69%), Pass (50-59%), and Fail (below 50%).

Focus: Assessments are designed to evaluate critical analysis, problem-solving skills, application of theory to practice, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Mode of Delivery

Format: Full-time, on-campus programme.

Duration: Minimum 12 months (with Accreditation of Prior Learning) or 24 months (without APL).

Schedule: Follows a standard academic calendar with primary intake in September and secondary intakes in February. The programme is delivered over four semesters (5 months each).

Workload: Students attend 12 hours of weekly lectures/workshops and are expected to complete an additional 25-30 hours of independent self-study per week.
