Programme Aims
The programme aims to:
Provide a coherent and comprehensive study of business organisations and their management.
Develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities graduates require to respond proactively and creatively to the challenges of the contemporary business environment as an employee or entrepreneur.
Develop a range of intellectual, professional attributes and transferable skills that will enable graduates to gain employment and then to add value to a business organisation and to the knowledge economy.
Foster an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to ideas and issues in a range of organisations and sectors.
Equip graduates with the knowledge, understanding and academic skills to continue to post-graduate study.

Programme Structure
The programme consists of 18 taught modules (6 per year), each worth 10 ECTS. Total credits: 180 ECTS.Programme Modules

Each module is delivered over 8 weeks (including assessments), following a prescribed module planner for a full academic year.
Assessment Strategies
For Year 1 and Year 2 modules:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): 50% – assesses foundational knowledge and key concepts.
Assignment: 30% – evaluates analytical ability, application of concepts, critical thinking, and written communication.
Presentation / Group work & participation: 20% – assesses oral communication, teamwork, and practical understanding.
For Year 3 modules:
100% Coursework – may include Work-Based Management Reports, Academic Research Papers, Case Studies, or Simulations.

Entry Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements for Year 1:
Minimum of 2 A Level passes; OR
Equivalent certified awards (e.g., Higher School Certificate, Canadian Grade 13); OR
NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 awards; OR
IBES recognised University Access or Foundation programme.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.0 or equivalent (TOEFL), or completion of a programme taught and assessed in English for at least 6 months, or a regulated English test at CEFR B1+ or above.
Direct Final Year Entry Requirements:
London Examinations Board Level 4 Extended and Level 5 Higher Diploma in Business Administration; OR
One or more diplomas accruing 120 ECTS credits (60 ECTS at Level 4 and 60 ECTS at Level 5) with coverage of key business areas (Operations, Management, Finance, HRM & Marketing); OR
Other qualifications subject to evaluation by the admission panel.
Advanced Standing (APL): Accreditation of Prior Learning may be granted for entry into Year 2 or Year 3 based on certificated prior learning.
Delivery Mode
Fully online – each taught module includes a total of 8 hours of online learning, tutorials, and interactions with the Module Leader.
Self-directed learning resources, case studies, and online collaboration tools support the delivery.
Duration / Notional Hours
Maximum duration for completion: 4 years (the Board of Examiners may terminate enrolment if requirements are not completed within 5 years).
Notional hours per module: 250 hours (for 10 ECTS)
Total notional hours for the programme: 4,500 hours (180 ECTS)
