Programme Overview
This 120 ECTS MBA, awarded by Institut Brittany d’Enseignement Supérieur (IBES), is designed to equip experienced professionals and managers with the capabilities to become strategic leaders. The programme focuses on driving organisational transformation, enhancing corporate resilience, and combining strategic vision with financial performance and inclusive leadership. It addresses the need for senior executives who can navigate complex, uncertain environments, lead multicultural teams, and integrate new technologies into management practices.

Upon completion, graduates will be able to demonstrate advanced competencies in three key areas:
Knowledge: Possess an advanced and critical understanding of core business domains (strategy, finance, marketing, etc.), integrate knowledge across disciplines (including technology and sustainability), and acquire specialised frontier knowledge in a chosen area like Finance, Marketing, or Innovation.
Skills: Critically analyse complex business information using data-driven models, develop and implement strategic plans, apply modern management tools to real-world contexts, generate innovative solutions for ambiguous problems, and communicate complex ideas persuasively to diverse audiences.
Competence & Autonomy: Lead and transform organisations through change using ethical judgment and innovative thinking. Graduates will demonstrate a high degree of autonomy in decision-making, take responsibility for leading teams and systems, and integrate ethical reasoning and sustainability into all strategic decisions.

Internship (10 ECTS): A 3-month practical industry placement.
Capstone Business Research Project (20 ECTS): A major research project (10,000-12,000 words) on a real-world business problem within the student’s chosen specialisation.
Assessment Structure
The programme employs a continuous assessment strategy designed to test both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Methods: Assessment instruments include work-based reports (3,500-4,000 words), articles/assignments, case studies, simulations, in-class activities, presentations, and the final capstone project.
Grading: A clear classification structure is used, with marks banded as Distinction (70-100%), Merit (60-69%), Pass (50-59%), and Fail (below 50%).
Focus: Assessments are designed to evaluate critical analysis, problem-solving skills, application of theory to practice, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Mode of Delivery
This is an on-campus, full-time programme delivered over four semesters (two academic years) on a standard French university calendar with intakes in September and February.
Notional Hours
The total notional hours for the programme are ~3,000 hours, comprising:
Taught Modules: 9 modules x 250 hours = 2,250 hours
Internship: 500 hours
Capstone Project: 500 hours
This includes structured learning (lectures, workshops, tutorials) and self-directed independent study.
